Private Lessons
One-on-one instruction tailored to the athlete — mechanics, approach, and a development plan tracked with on-site tech.
- Pitching mechanics & arm care
- Hitting approach & swing path
- Progress measured every session

A year-round indoor home for hitters and pitchers — private coaching, pro-grade tracking tech, and a membership built so the off-season is where the gains happen. Deep roots, grow tall, built to last.
Redwoods Baseball and Softball Club is McHenry County's home for serious, year-round baseball and softball development. When the fields freeze over, the work doesn't stop — it moves indoors, onto turf, into the cages, and in front of the cameras and sensors that turn effort into measurable progress.
The name is a promise. Redwoods are the tallest, oldest, strongest living things on earth — and they get there by rooting deep and growing a little every season. That's how we build players: fundamentals first, real reps, and a place to come back to all year long.

Private and small-group instruction from coaches who develop mechanics and character, not just run drills.
Rapsodo and Pocket Radar turn every swing and pitch into data you can act on, season over season.
Indoor turf and cages keep development going straight through the Illinois winter — a home that's always open.

Real development takes real tools. Redwoods pairs Rapsodo data tracking with a full lineup of pro-grade pitching machines — spin, velo, exit speed and launch angle, measured and improved, all year long.
Marquee Data TechThe marquee data tech — camera-and-radar tracking for spin, movement, exit velo and launch angle. Every rep becomes a number you can train against.

Three Iron Mike machines deliver high-volume, true arm-action reps — the timing every hitter needs, all winter long.

See the ball the whole way: 70+ mph fastballs and true breaking balls from a three-wheel machine that mimics a live arm.

The trusted JUGS machine for consistent, dialed-in reps across baseball and softball.
